June 2003
| Location : 331 km east of Melbourne. | Population : 350 (yes people!) | A picturesque submerged river valley, with sand bar between lake and ocean. |
Our view
A very unspoilt quiet location, with the campsite being on the edge of the beach . Although having stuffed ourselves with the curry we never quite made it to the only pub/bistro called the Water Wheel. Next time maybe...
We actually made it out of bed before 7AM to take the sun rise picture. The beach pictured forms part of the "90 mile beach" and was a fabulous place to have a Monday morning jog (yes we really did run along the beach and were the only people for as far as the eye could see)...certainly beats blasting up the M6 at the crack of dawn on a Monday for work.
