This place was just like stepping back in time. It has the
largest number of National Trust buildings in Queensland - which for some reason
we've captured on 35mm film for a change! Ignoring the cultural heritage, we
opted for Tors Drive-In movies! Steve the owner took us behind the scenes of the
projection room and told us the story of his labour of love. Built in 1965, he
bought it 14 years ago at the age of 19, has nearly been put out of business 4
times and runs 2 movies back to back Thurs-Sun each week for the bargain price
of $5.50 each! He provides food and drink and despite the fact we'd chosen a
children's double bill, it was a wonderful experience!
